He led the Muslim resistance against the European crusaders in the Levant. His sultanate at the highest peaks of power included Egypt, Syria, Mesopotamia, the Hejaz, Yemen, and other parts of North Africa.
26 Rajab 573 AH. The day the Temple was liberated from the hands of the Christian Crusaders. The Baitul Muqaddas was liberated under the able leadership of the heroic general Sultan Salahuddin Ayub.
Baitul Muqaddas is the first qibla of Muslims. The Baitul Muqaddas is a historical place intertwined with the memory of innumerable prophets and messengers and a place of dignified worship. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made his first visit on the night of the historic Meraj from the Masjid al-Haram, or Kaaba, to the Masjid al-Aqsa, or the Holy House. The Qur'an mentions this visit:
Praise be to Allah.
Was Saladin a good leader?
The Most Holy and Glorious Being is the One Who made His servant (Muhammad SAW) travel from the Sacred Mosque to the Al-Aqsa Mosque at night. On the four sides of which I have bestowed enough blessings so that I may show him some signs of might. Surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing. (Surah Bani Isra'il: verse 1)Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the prayers in this mosque while leading all the Prophets and Messengers. That is why he was recognized as the Imam of all the Prophets, Imamul Ambiya, and Sayyidul Mursalin as the leader of all the Prophets.
In this mosque, Aqsa has been the heart of Islam and the pasture of Islamic culture for a long time. The Caliphate of Muslims During the caliphate of Hazrat Omar (may Allah be pleased with him) in 637, the whole of Palestine, including Baitul Muqaddas and Jerusalem, came under the control of Muslims.
In the course of time, on June 6, 1099, the Christian Crusaders laid siege to the Temple. On 15 July 1099, the Christian Crusaders, with the help of the so-called Muslim rulers, occupied all of Syria, Palestine, and Jerusalem.
What did Saladin want?
On July 15, 1099, the Christians entered the Holy Temple. The mosque was extensively converted and turned into a church. The Crusaders entered the mosque and wreaked havoc there. On that day, the blood of the Muslims was flooded inside and outside the Holy Al Quds. This is how the 462 years of Muslim rule in Jerusalem fell. This is how the occupation of Jerusalem, Palestine, and the mosque continued.
Palestinian Muslims spent days waiting for a leader. Under that leadership, Muslims will regain their lost glory. Muslim humanity will be freed from the shackles of slavery and oppression. The glorious call to prayer of Islam will be heard again in the mosque.
Who is this Saladin Ayubi?
An incident during the occupation of the Holy Temple by the Christian Crusaders. This is an incident of some time in the year 1099. The Temple was then occupied by the Christian Crusaders. At that time a carpenter lived in Baghdad. This carpenter made a carved pulpit with the love of the mind. People started talking about the beauty of the pulpit. And to see that, people started coming to the carpenter's house in groups. Many people want to buy the pulpit. But the carpenter refused to sell it. His same answer ‘‘The pulpit is not for sale; Instead, I made it for Al-Aqsa Mosque. Many called him crazy. But the carpenter was adamant in his decision.
After a long time. One day a little boy came to see the pulpit holding his father's hand. He also knew about his dreams from the carpenter. That same day, the little boy promised to fulfill his dream of becoming a carpenter. That boy is no more; He is the heroic general Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi. And he placed that pulpit in this mosque after the conquest of Baitul Muqaddas.
In 117, the city of Jerusalem was recaptured by Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi of the Muslim hero Sipahsala.
The conspiracy to establish the state of Israel in Palestine began after Sultan Saladin Ayubi liberated Jerusalem. In order to carry out this nefarious purpose, the Jews seek permission from the then ruler of Turkey, Sultan Abdul Hamid, to settle in Palestine. The far-sighted Sultan did not agree to their mischievous proposal. The British finally invaded Palestine in 1918 and in 1920 they established full authority there. In a short time, Jews were allowed to settle permanently in Palestine.
As the number of Jews in the Holy Land of Palestine increased, political and religious riots with Muslims became a daily occurrence. At that time, the British imperialists unjustly divided the Muslim land of Palestine between Muslims and Jews.
As a result, the Zionist illegal state of Israel was established on May 15, 1948, with the declaration of Belfort. Since then, the level of oppression, torture, and persecution of Muslims by Zionist Israelis has increased, which continues to this day.
The illegally formed state of Israel and the occupying forces forcibly occupied the Aqsa Mosque in 1967. Since then, the Muslim people there have continued their struggle for liberation and freedom. But Zionist Israel continues to expand Jewish settlements by forcibly occupying one Muslim-inhabited area after another, and killings and disappearances continue.
The mosques are currently under the control of the occupying Israelis in the cities of Aqsa and Jerusalem. Muslims are being persecuted there. They are constantly occupying the territory of Palestine.
Sixty years later ... Today, not only in Palestine but in different parts of the world, Muslim souls are weeping for a Salahuddin Ayub. The wait is counting down. On this day in 1442 AH, after a long 70 years, I remember the heroic general Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi. Freedom-loving Muslims living in Jerusalem, Palestine, spend their days waiting for a Salahuddin Ayub. When will they be released? Who will be the Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi of this era?
Shortly after King Richard's return, Saladin fell ill and died in Damascus on March 4, 1193. Among his personal belongings at the time of his death were one piece of gold and forty pieces of silver. He donated most of his famous wealth to the poor. He was buried outside the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus. Seven centuries later, the German emperor donated a marble coffin to the tomb of William II. No changes were made to the original tomb. Instead, it is set aside.
According to Imaduddin, Salahuddin had five sons before leaving Egypt in 1174. Saladin's eldest son, Al Afdal Ibn Saladin, was born in 1160, and Al Aziz Uthman in 1172. The second was with Saladin in Syria. His third son today was Zaheer Ghazi. He later became the ruler of Aleppo. In 118, another child of Saladin was born to al-Afdan's mother. A letter preserved by Kalkashandi mentions the birth of his twelfth son in May 117. However, according to Imaduddin's list, he is Saladin's seventh child. Son Masood was born in 1175 and Yaqub in 116.
